heat wave

well, the situation at work has become a bit dire in the area of air conditioning. we have air in the rooms but the public areas remain untouched by any cool breeze. SO anyone in the kitchen (he hem aka. mom and i) are left to poach away in the heat.
SOLUTION: WE NEED FANS IN HERE.
MISSION FOR NATE: GO PURCHASE SOME FANS YOUNG MAN. MAKE HASTE!!!!

so nate comes back very proudly with two fans. the first one best fits mom's exclamation upon seeing it... "THAT LOOKS LIKE A TOY!!"
"no mom it's high velocity. it gives TWICE the air. (how the fan people came to this conclusion i don't really know) look at those blades. they're metal." a hush fell over the kitchen as we examined this miracle fan that would provide all the coolness we needed and was only the size of a coffee pot. however nate was soon to be out done. the second fan he had purchased was a STANDING FAN. the standing fan is exactly our height and can be moved around wherever we want it to be. the standing fan was not recommended by nate but rather by our maintenance man, bill. i call him the keeper of the estates since maintenance man is very simple and he works at both inns.
"Thank you so much for recommending this fan bill!" we all exclaimed joyfully. nate receded to the shadows of the office realizing he was slightly over powered by bill's amazing idea. but not to be outdone he quickly shouted "and thanks nate for getting the fans and for choosing the HIGH VELOCITY FAN!!!"
hahahah poor nate. he worked so hard to pick out that little fan! thanks nate i really feel TWICE THE AIR!!!
nate felt better and went to purchase a burrito at the health food store. comfort food. and then we're going to drag him to mini golf tonight. i was mortified that he didn't think mini golfing was fun. what a partay poopa. you really did do an awesome job nate. couldn't have done it better myself.
even bill admitted to this fact.
